In MFT Energy, we trade energy to make markets efficient and to facilitate the green transition. We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our ambitious Intraday Power Team with experienced colleagues who strive to be the best every day.
The job as Machine Learning Engineer
You will be a part of our great Intraday Power Team and as a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be one of the driving forces behind designing and maintaining a robust machine learning setup encompassing over 100 models. Your role is pivotal in bringing our ML setup to the next maturity stage, significantly expanding our model portfolio. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, platform engineers, quants, and traders to achieve these goals.
Your key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable ML infrastructure.
- Support, manage, and optimize a portfolio of 100+ ML models.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into trading systems.
- Enhance the maturity and scalability of our ML setup.
Your core skills
- Proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
- Experience with public cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Bash and Linux environments.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
Beneficial skills
- Proficiency in core ML frameworks/tools is a plus: MLFlow, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Strong SQL skills or similar database tools.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
Your qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- MSc or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Economics, or similar).
