Liability Claims Handler Denmark

Zurich is one of the most specialized insurance companies within non-life insurance for local and international business in the Nordic market. Our Nordic Claims department works with a wide range of claims within different Lines of Business for Customers in the Nordics as well as in the rest of the world. We are now looking for an outgoing and positive person to join our Claims department as a Liability Claims Handler.

As a Liability Claims Handler you will independently handle all kinds of liability claims across the Nordic countries. The claims handling consists of gathering relevant evidence and information to accurately investigate the liability, assess the value including recognizing potential fraud and recovery indicators.

We are focused on a proactive and efficient claims handling and aim to deliver an excellent claims service supporting both our customers and Zurich. Communication with stakeholders, such as customers, brokers, claimants, experts, underwriters and claim colleagues is an important part of the job. In this role you will have regular contact with our regional and global referral points.

Qualifications:

  1. Several years of experience as a Liability Claims Handler
  2. An academic degree in law
  3. Excellent technical knowledge of the claims handling core processes – along with first-rate negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively
  4. Experience with international claims handling
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English; proficiency in other Nordic languages is a plus

  4. Good communication and negotiation skills
