Join Veo's Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition Partner for Veo's Builders Department (engineering, product, and design) to find, attract, engage, and welcome top technical talent. You would be responsible for sourcing, screening, and developing the hiring process together with a great team of engineering, product, and design leaders.

Your day-to-day will consist of:

Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:
  • Apply your sourcing toolbox of job boards, developer communities, social media, professional networks, etc., to discover and inspire best-in-class technical talent.
  • Build, monitor, and tune pipelines of candidates for key technical roles.
  • Leverage an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure a smooth experience for candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers throughout the hiring journey.
Technical Screening & Interviews:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to shape the technical job requirements, skills, and traits needed to match and adapt to Veo's product and business.
  • Carry out the first stage of remote interviews to appraise applicants' technical expertise and potential to thrive and grow in Veo's ethos and work environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with relevant experts within Veo.
Candidate Management:
  • Reflect enthusiasm and passion for the product and development while serving as the point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Keep candidates up to date with adequate and timely feedback so they finish the hiring process with a positive experience.
Partnership with Hiring Teams:
  • Partner with our Builders department to address anticipated staffing, market, and pipeline needs, as well as insights.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluation criteria.
  • Innovate on ways to increase candidate quality and interest in Veo.
Market Research & Reporting:
  • Follow, digest, and present effective recruiting trends in the tech industry, compensation benchmarks, and talent market conditions.
Required Qualifications:
  • +5 years of technical recruiting experience, preferably within an in-house technical recruiting team.
  • Ability to identify T-shaped senior talent who can learn and apply technical skills to the correct business problems at the right time.
  • Solid understanding of technical roles and practices (software/hardware engineers, data/computer vision scientists, DevSecOps, etc.), programming languages, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
  • Awareness of hiring biases and experience with techniques to mitigate them.
  • Experience using ATS (we use Lever) systems and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and Stack Overflow for candidate sourcing.
  • Proficient in engaging with others, communicating clearly, and navigating groups toward agreement.
  • Ability to adapt to new opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Recruitment experience within tech companies, preferably at various stages of growth.
