Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for health, safety, and environmental standards? Maersk is seeking a dedicated Senior HSE Manager to define, own, and facilitate the implementation of the global APMM HSSE management framework across our operations. The role also serves as the HSE expert within warehouse and depot operations who prioritises occupational health, safety II/safety differently approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior HSE Manager – Warehousing & Depots and HSSE management framework (MF), you will build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders, integrating HSE aspects into their processes. You will serve as the worldwide authority on HSE standards and guidance, providing expert consultation to the S&R community and business stakeholders. Your proactive approach will identify and resolve barriers to the successful implementation of HSE standards and procedures across our global operations.

You will lead global initiatives to embed these standards within Maersk warehouses and depots, ensuring compliance and effectiveness through continuous feedback and evaluation. Supporting regional leaders, auditors and acting as the main point of contact for internal and external audits, you will enable that our HSE practices meet internal, regulatory and customers expectations. Additionally, you will guide the organization towards ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification and compliance, reinforcing our commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for a strong communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills, legislative writing skills, capable of making strategic decisions and negotiating effectively. Your analytical capabilities, combined with an empathic and flexible attitude, will enable you to navigate complex challenges. A steadfast attitude and commitment to HSE excellence is crucial for success in this role.

In addition, you will need the following competencies:

  1. Relevant master's degree with minimum 10 years experience within HSE
  2. Experience managing company HSSE standards and processes
  3. Knowledge of fundamental warehousing processes
  4. Knowledge of fundamental depot processes
  5. Understanding of critical risks in warehouses & depots
  6. Familiarity with main international HSE regulations
  7. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  8. Legislative writing skills
  9. Experience in managing and facilitating implementation of HSSE standards and processes.
