Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.
Growing as fast as we do in Veo means that every day is different, exciting, and challenging, both on the front line and in the back office.
We’re looking for a proactive Buyer who thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces change, and adapts quickly to shifting priorities to ensure we consistently meet our sourcing goals.
As a Veo Buyer, you will support the operation in sourcing, coordinating, and procuring technical goods and services essential for Veo's production. This role involves collaboration with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
You will interact with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and gather information on product availability and lead times, ensuring and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers while resolving issues.
Maintain organized and up-to-date purchase orders and supplier communications records, and actively prepare reports or summaries related to procurement activities. You will create and process supplier purchase orders following policies and procedures.
Skills and tasks:
- Extended experience with international purchase of goods and services
- Purchasing and follow-up on daily operations
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Coordination between Purchase, R&D, and production
- High level of working with spreadsheets and presentation slides
- Preparation of Supplier Contract and follow-up
- Navigating and assisting in new production introduction
- Master data controlling
- Develop existing and new suppliers in collaboration with R&D
- Rationalization and optimization of processes and business procedures
- Continuously evaluate optimal stock levels vs. lead times in collaboration with Production
You work in a structured and persistent manner and continue until the task is solved. You are outgoing, a good communicator, and service-minded. In stressful situations, you maintain a high focus while keeping an overview. You gain new knowledge quickly and work efficiently after training. You must possess solid experience within the procurement area.
It's a small team with many stakeholders in Production, SIOP, and R&D, so you should be creative and attentive to detail.
You will be responsible for all ordering and timely incomings from appointed suppliers. The focus for growth in this role will be on on-time deliveries, inventory turns, price-cost-down, and supplier quality.
We seek skilled people regardless of seniority but with 5-10 years of experience in International Purchasing, preferably from the tech industry. We value skills and expertise over seniority, so if you have a strong background in purchasing, we want to hear from you
At Veo, you'll be part of a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement. Our rapid growth ensures a diverse and ever-changing atmosphere. We believe in work-life balance and providing a positive culture that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.
Diversity and differences are valuable assets for us. We value diversity and inclusion and welcome people from all backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. And you may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
Still interested? Join us at Veo and become a part of a team that delivers greatness and has a great time doing it.
We will invite for interviews continuously, so apply with LinkedIn or your resume as soon as possible.
