Are you a university student and curious about how information such as scientific publications and competitor information is utilized within a pharmaceutical company?

Then this is your chance to join CLICK, Ferring's Global Library & Information team. We are responsible for providing Ferring employees worldwide with customized information research, literature/information surveillance and access to relevant information content and search solutions.

We are searching for the next bright student to assist us 10-15 hours per week – starting mid-January or at the beginning of February 2025 at latest.

The position will be placed in Ferring's spectacular brand-new facility located close to Copenhagen airport. Here you will be surrounded by highly skilled and equally dedicated colleagues including various experts and specialists that you will collaborate with as part of your daily tasks.

Your day at Ferring

As our student assistant your overall focus is to support internal customers and our team of professional information specialists with regular operational tasks. As Ferring has sites in over 110 countries, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in Denmark and across the globe daily.

After proper training, your core tasks will be:

  • Monitoring of our request management system and serving as the first line of support for our users regarding database and scientific journal access.
  • Uploading journal articles to Ferring's regulatory submission system for inclusion in submissions to health authorities.
  • Distributing our internal scientific/competitor intelligence newsletters.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support information specialists by assisting with complex scientific/medical literature searches.
  • Work with database usage statistics and contribute to recommendations for new database purchases.
  • Support internal projects matching your interests and competencies.

  • You are currently studying at a higher education institution ideally with a focus on library and information science or related fields, though we welcome candidates with other educational backgrounds.
  • Ideally you have at least two years or more left of your studies.
  • You understand good customer support and take pride in delivering high quality service.
  • You are thorough and attentive to details.
  • We expect from you that you feel comfortable using written English as your primary communication method.
  • You are IT literate and tech savvy and quickly familiarize yourself with new systems.
  • You must be able to work approximately 1.5 - 2 days per week (10-15 hours) alongside your studies.
  • You must be able to work in the office within regular office hours (app. 8-17).
