Contribute directly to Sales Revenue Plan achievement by providing technical and analytical expertise in the sale and support of Xerox Production Printers and solutions. Presales responsibilities will include solution development, application validation and solution implementation. Contribute to the Professional Services plan by selling consulting services, for new application development, and volume building activities.

Essential Functions:

Provide remote technical and analytical pre-sale support for production printing systems and solutions:

  1. Identify customer application opportunities for Xerox products and Third-Party Solutions.
  2. Gather quantitative and qualitative data about customer applications and environment in support of sales strategies.
  3. Gather & analyze customer data to ensure flawless implementation of networked and centralized host environment solutions.
  4. Prepare and present technical sections of proposals, including structured implementation plan.
  5. Work with the customer to ensure the successful implementation of the recommended software, connectivity and workflows, function as identified in the Statement of Work, including technical integration, workflow modification and physical document output.
  6. Provide customer presentations of applications and customized virtual product demonstrations.
  7. Retain ongoing customer relationships at appropriate levels to ensure customer loyalty and secure additional business.
  8. Understand customer requirements for support services; recommend and deliver billable services as appropriate.
  9. Collaborate and support other resources to achieve financial goals and objectives and provide technical support as required.
  10. Achieve Remote Connectivity goals, product specialization, maintain proficiency in key areas of support i.e. Color Management processes, Graphic Design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, understand Variable Data application and defined data streams such as AFP/IPDS, LCDS, and other legacy systems. Page Description Languages including PCL, PostScript and PDF.
  11. BS/BA (Computer Science / Information Management, Business or Graphic Design) or Network Certifications preferred.
  12. Documented equivalent field experience also accepted.
  13. Proficient level of knowledge and skill in one or more of the following areas: Networks/LAN, Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, and Mac), print shops, data center and centralized host environments.
  14. Working knowledge of one or more Xerox production print environments/products, including production B/W, color, and Xerox FreeFlow suite of products is a plus.
  15. Strong analytical skills.
  16. Experience with system integration and the implementation of complex customized network systems.
  17. Excellent written and verbal skills.
  18. Display a professional image in all interactions with customers, be a team player, proactive attitude and flexibility.
