In your role as Network Engineer, you're set to become instrumental in optimizing and overseeing our internal firewall solutions throughout the Nordic region. You will report to our Head of IT Platforms and collaborate closely with our architect team and colleagues in the Nordics. Your main focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining our firewall solutions, ensuring seamless operations and robust security.
Your role will involve not just the design of network solutions but also their execution and maintenance, addressing network issues related to office and server environments. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities, from project execution to customer assistance for our internal customers, requiring a proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset.

Who are we looking for?
We are in the process of finding a candidate with a solid foundation in network engineering with specialization in firewall systems. The preferred applicant would exhibit a forward-thinking approach and keen interest in enhancing the effectiveness and security of our network systems. In this role you will work a lot on your own and collaborate with other teams and team members in the Nordics. You should feel comfortable taking personal responsibility for projects and excel when self-directing your work tasks.
Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in firewalls, preferably Fortinet.
- Solid general networking knowledge with around 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in designing and implementing network solutions.
- Familiarity with data center networks and server virtualization (e.g., VMware).
