We are currently seeking one to two dedicated and service-minded technicians or service engineers to do maintenance and repair of several of the highly technological equipment we have in our facility.
Job description
You will become a member of the Lithography and Wet Chemistry group. The group is responsible for more than 100 advanced tools, some inside our cleanroom facility and others in neighboring support and back-end laboratories. We cover a wide range of tasks within photolithographic and chemical processes, chip packaging and inspection. We are also responsible for repair and maintenance of our equipment as well as setting up new processes. Our main purpose is to support Nanolab's users, who are students, researchers, and private companies, and to ensure that our equipment is well maintained and meets our ISO9001 certified quality standards.

- Take part in equipment maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repair of broken equipment
- Purchasing spare parts
- Organizing maintenance and repair tasks
- Documentation of breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Equipment maintenance and repairs also include several fume hoods and wet benches with automatic sash and processing baths as well as optical microscopes.
Most of the work will take place in our cleanroom facilities.
This further implies that you:
- are able to work in an environment where it can be necessary to wear specialized safety and protective equipment.
- are able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, including evacuation in case of alarms.
- are able to perform tasks that require work while standing up and mobility for longer periods.
- are mentally able to handle work with potentially hazardous chemicals and gases in accordance with applicable safety procedures.
The workplace puts high demands on both physical and mental robustness, as safety in the work tasks is crucial. We offer thorough training and support in the role.
Qualifications
We expect the qualified candidate for the position to have a minimum of 3 years relevant education within electronics, mechatronics, or automation, or a bachelor in engineering. You must be self-driven and proactive and have an eye for possible safety issues. Since you will be working as part of a team, it is important to have a positive and open-minded attitude.
Further, we expect you have some of the following skills:
- experience with troubleshooting
- experience within mechatronics
- experience with computer-controlled automatic systems
- basic knowledge of programming and other IT skills.
