Are you passionate about people and processes and experienced in improving operations performance? Do you excel through process standardization and systematic continuous improvement?

At AGC Biologics, we are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Continuous Improvement Lead to join our Manufacturing function. You have strong communication skills and the ability to translate data analyses into actionable initiatives. You are passionate about working with lean and people change management and thrive in a dynamic international pharmaceutical environment.

About the Role

As our Continuous Improvement Lead, you have an important role in our manufacturing function, and you are responsible for driving operational and cross-functional lean improvements of our processes, ways of working, and systems along with systematic continuous improvement. You head change initiatives including value chain stakeholder management and solve complex departmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and implement lean initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities through data analysis and innovative solutions that enhance operational performance.

Acting as a project manager and facilitator, you will lead optimization and change projects both in manufacturing and cross-functionally. You will provide training to strengthen lean capabilities within the organization and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing goals are met.

Additionally, you will implement lean tools such as visual management, problem-solving, and waste identification to improve efficiency. Coaching and facilitating performance meetings will also be part of your responsibilities. You will analyze large data sets to find opportunities for improvement and develop processes to support these initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in working with Lean in an operational environment including data analysis.
  • Experience in change management and coaching across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Skills in project management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Your Profile

On a personal level, you demonstrate good business understanding and lean/continuous improvement capabilities. You see the big picture of value chain operations while still being detail-oriented. You understand processes even in unclear structures and changing contexts. Flexible and motivated, you thrive under pressure and maintain an organized, results-oriented approach by aligning priorities and following through. You are proactive and challenge the status quo. You engage in cross-organizational collaboration, conduct complex data analyses, and translate advanced concepts into a simple language. You coach and challenge co-workers across the organization with a positive spirit.

Join an International and Agile Organization

At AGC Biologics, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks and challenges, gaining experience across various departments. With a collaborative approach to planning projects and tasks, you will also have the opportunity to influence your day-to-day work. AGC offers an informal working environment where energy and enthusiasm are part of daily life.
