Job Responsibilities:

Are you ready to take your transportation coordination skills to the next level? Look no further We have an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Coordinator to join our valued team based in either Roskilde, Denmark or Bleiswijk, the Netherlands.

You will play a key role in reducing costs, streamlining operations, and enhancing service quality across our LPD EMEA transportation network. Here's why this role is ideal for you:

  1. Impactful Work: You will have the chance to optimize transportation activities for critical periods such as month end, quarter end, and year end shipments. Your expertise will directly help improve efficiency and ensure timely delivery.
  2. Collaboration and Improvement: Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to evaluate and improve transport coordination. Your innovative ideas and critical thinking will craft our transportation strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Your dedication to resolving transportation complaints and ensuring carrier performance will directly impact customer satisfaction. By monitoring goals and metrics for customer service, you will ensure that our operations consistently go above and beyond.
  4. Compliance and Efficiency: You will ensure compliance with Import/Export and distribution regulations, guaranteeing smooth and flawless operations. Additionally, your oversight of freight expenses and third-party billing processes will optimize cost management and improve financial efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shipping/Transportation or Supply Chain.
  3. Proven track record in setting and achieving goals.
  4. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Personal Qualifications:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix management environment.
  2. Proactive with a strong commitment to ethical conduct, sound decision-making, and drive.
  3. Curious by nature and desire to develop.
  4. Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  5. Strong language skills, with negotiation-level English as a minimum.
