We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Architect to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the frontend architecture of our web application, ensuring top-notch performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience. A key responsibility will be migrating and upgrading our existing tech stack from AngularJS to more modern technologies to keep our applications competitive and up-to-date.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Define the overall frontend architecture in line with technical goals and business objectives.
  2. Lead the migration and upgrade process from AngularJS to a modern tech stack.
  3. Select and integrate appropriate frontend technologies, frameworks, and tooling.
  4. Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  5. Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the development team.
  6. Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers.
  7. Implement security best practices to protect against common vulnerabilities.
  8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the frontend architecture.

Who are you?

  1. 5+ years experience as a Frontend Architect, Lead Engineer, or in a similar role.
  2. Mastery of frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js).
  3. Experience in migrating legacy systems to modern tech stacks; experience from AngularJS is definitely a plus.
  4. Expert in system design, performance optimization, and best practices.
  5. Always up-to-date with the latest frontend trends and advancements.
  6. Disciplined, structured, and open-minded.
  7. Have a natural desire to lead and guide your team and ensure a strong team spirit in your daily work.
  8. Believe that performance is not a matter of fast deliveries but high-quality deliveries and a strong team spirit.
  9. Thrive working under a high level of autonomy taking responsibility for your own tasks.
  10. Are located in or near Odense.
  11. Have excellent communication skills in verbal and written Danish and English.
  12. And most importantly, you are a team player who contributes to the team - both with your professional knowledge and your personal anecdotes and humor
