About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT department at European Energy A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and easy maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new cloud network infrastructure in Azure
  • Participate in designing and implementing our network security strategy, including next-generation firewall features and capabilities
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure
  • Establish and build network in new parks and offices globally
  • Support the development of automating cloud platform
  • Help design and implement network security strategy, including cloud enablement and next-generation firewall features and capabilities
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud solutions in Azure
  • Proficient in operating and deploying network infrastructure in Azure cloud
  • Experience working with a hybrid cloud environment
  • Preferably hold a Cisco CCNP/CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge and are familiar with the Azure networking suite
  • Can provide up-to-date knowledge in network design, planning, implementation, and troubleshooting, with experience in managing SD-WAN and next-generation Firewall Technologies
  • Possess general knowledge about cloud computing, including designing infrastructure architecture solutions in public and hybrid clouds, as well as knowledge about infrastructure security architecture
  • You hold a degree in computer science, data technician, or similar
  • You are proficient in English, both written and oral
  • Have a holistic approach to network security
