Contract Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Contract Engineer to join our dynamic team at Itinera Denmark. As a Contract Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management, drafting, review, and administration of contracts between clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of subcontract agreements.
• Manage subcontractor correspondence, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Support the Procurement team in drafting and negotiating contracts, including reviewing terms and conditions.
• Evaluate and process change orders or variation requests from contractors and subcontractors.
• Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor claims, variations, and payment applications.
• Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence.
• Provide support in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking of projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure contract requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, contract management, or a related role.
• Basic understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and ABs construction contracts.
• Professional proficiency in English, both verbally and written.
• High level of communication skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
