Assistant or Associate Professor in Pharmacoepidemiology

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant or Associate Professor in Pharmacoepidemiology to join our research team at the University of Southern Denmark. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research group focused on pharmacoepidemiology and clinical pharmacology.
About the PositionThe Assistant or Associate Professor will be responsible for developing and maintaining an area of particular interest within pharmacoepidemiology, identifying new research opportunities, and contributing to the development of research projects. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach and supervise students, as well as participate in administrative duties related to running the pharmacy education program.
About the Research GroupThe research group is led by professors Jesper Hallas and Anton Pottegård and comprises approximately 40 individuals. The group focuses on registry-based research covering all aspects of drug use, effect, and safety. We collaborate extensively with the rest of the department and other groups, including both clinical and basic pharmacology research as well as environmental medicine.
RequirementsThe applicant will be expected to be fluent in English (written and spoken), to hold a PhD degree within epidemiology or a related discipline, and to have a track record within the field of pharmacoepidemiology. The candidate will also be expected to contribute to a positive and constructive working environment by active participation and to be open to interdisciplinary work across the department and its collaborators.
