Financial Controller

At DIS/CREADIS - Dansk IngeniørService A/S, we are seeking a skilled Junior Financial Controller to join our Global Finance Team in Stilling near Aarhus. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality financial deliveries and supporting positive development within your area of expertise.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and experience in a similar role or as an auditor is an advantage. You will be responsible for assisting in timely and accurate internal and external finance reporting, ensuring compliance within the accounting area, handling hands-on tasks related to monthly closure and preparation of financial statements, optimizing accounting/finance processes, and supporting the organization in accounting-related questions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, maintaining records and files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform tasks related to monthly closure, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role or as an auditor is an advantage.
- Strong Excel, Power BI, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a flexible approach to meet changing business needs.
What We Offer
