Optoacoustic Probe Researcher

In this exciting role, you will play a key part in the development of optoacoustic probes for brain sensing and actuation. As a researcher at DTU Health Tech, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, fabricate, and characterize implantable optoacoustic probes. You will utilize your expertise in photonics, piezoelectric materials, and device fabrication methods to create innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include developing optical fibers with acoustic generation properties, tailoring optoacoustic materials, and collaborating on the fabrication of piezoelectric transducers. You will also design experiments to employ integrated acoustic probes for preclinical applications.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in physics, materials science, and/or microfabrication technologies. You will be expected to drive the project forward, supervise students, and achieve ambitious goals.
