Job Description
- Design and develop innovative protein-based solutions for insect pest control using AI-guided approaches.
- Characterize the molecular, cellular, and organismal mechanisms underlying the mode of action of these novel biocontrol agents.
- Evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of these solutions in laboratory and field-like settings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Biomedicine, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Outstanding skills and knowledge in insect physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology.
- Experience with microdissection and surgical treatments in insects.
- Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written and spoken English.
