Job Description

  • Design and develop innovative protein-based solutions for insect pest control using AI-guided approaches.
  • Characterize the molecular, cellular, and organismal mechanisms underlying the mode of action of these novel biocontrol agents.
  • Evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of these solutions in laboratory and field-like settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Biomedicine, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Outstanding skills and knowledge in insect physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology.
  • Experience with microdissection and surgical treatments in insects.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in written and spoken English.
