Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 90-bed facility, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our healthcare team as a Supervisor. With a strong focus on resident care and staff support, this role requires a compassionate leader who can establish a positive work environment and ensure seamless resident care services.

About the Role

This full-time position involves overseeing nursing staff, scheduling, and assigning tasks to meet resident needs. As a strong communicator, you will provide timely information to residents and staff, addressing their queries and requests promptly. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is also crucial, adhering to rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
  • Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
  • Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations
  • Manage documentation of resident care services
  • Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Prescribing programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
