Offshore Logistics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Lead/Senior Marine Lead to join our Offshore Logistics team in Generation (O&M). This role will involve providing expertise on vessel-related matters, Dynamic Positioning operations, and Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime regulation, certification, surveys, and audits. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable presenting, building relationships, and influencing others.

As part of our Offshore Logistics team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop new solutions, contract vessels and suppliers, and audit their performance. You will also participate in tendering activities, advise on marine infrastructure and operations, and maintain technical requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor or master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Marine Engineer, Master Mariner, or Naval Architect. You will also require 5-10 years of experience working in a Marine & Offshore Logistics field, preferably within the offshore wind sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Subject matter expert on vessel-related matters
• Dynamic Positioning operations and technical requirements for DP vessels
• Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operations and optimization
• Participation in tendering activities
• Vessel and supplier auditing
• Advice on marine infrastructure and operations
• Ownership and maintenance of technical requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A bachelor or master's degree in a relevant discipline
• 5-10 years of experience working in a Marine & Offshore Logistics field
• Expertise in Dynamic Positioning operations and DP systems
• Experience with Service Operation Vessels (SOV) operations and optimization
• Strong understanding of maritime regulation, certification, surveys, and audits
• Persuasive communication skills and ability to present, build relationships, and influence others
• Fluent English language skills
