Job Overview:
Vestas is seeking an experienced Global Wind Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and coaching Offshore Service Site Technicians at new Offshore Service sites across all Regions during the Service Readiness and site Ramp-Up phases.

As a Global Wind Trainer, you will work closely with our Offshore Service Site Technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate the windfarms efficiently and safely.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the site team in using Vestas processes and best practices to ensure that we operate in a standard way, enabling the scale up of Offshore Service, globally.
  • Supporting site teams with troubleshooting & fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Training teams in all technical and operational aspects of our flagship V236 platform.
  • Improving first time fixes and driving down annual service times (Use of Power BI to monitor times).
  • Application and coaching in the use of the Vestas Wind Turbine Safety Rules, establishing general safety.
  • Training new starting Technicians from early recruitment.
  • Support with inspection & upgrading activities.
  • Daily monitoring of operations, and remote fault finding via online systems.
