RTR Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Warsaw. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for performing efficient and accurate general ledger accounting activities within designated geography (EMEA region) for new SDC (SSC) structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations: Ensure correct application of accounting standards & policies (IFRS/country specific), ensure daily accurate posting of Journal entries and pass manual Journals where required, and manage lease schedules.
• Period-End Close: Ensure compliance with closing checklist (monthly / quarterly / annual), co-ordinate with other Sub-ledger Owners, and perform and review GL accounts close activities.
• Tax and Compliance: Coordinate with Group Tax and other stakeholders to gather inputs, support tax calculations, and prepare reconciliations or filing information in order to ensure tax compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in General Accounting and Financial Close or more than 3 years in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeping Office.
• Preferably prior experience working within Multinational or GBS/ SSC organization and knowledge of ERP system.
