We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team.

Alstom is committed to enhancing Denmark's mainline network to boost reliability and minimize maintenance. We are tasked with implementing and maintaining a cutting-edge signalling system, ERTMS (European Railway Traffic Management System), in the eastern region of Denmark, along with a Traffic Management System (TMS).

As the Project Manager for Roll Out, you will oversee the project from the initial kick-off meeting to the final approval, ensuring the deployment of one or more lines with the new signalling system, achieving customer acceptance and optimal financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of the signalling project, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and customer expectations.
  • Manage a project team and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Conduct project management and contract administration in line with Alstom's Project Management Manual, focusing on proactive risk and opportunity management.
  • Achieve project performance goals to align with business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in project execution and conduct thorough reviews.
  • Identify and address critical project aspects during reviews in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Ensure alignment among key project stakeholders towards common goals.
  • EHS: Ensure the effective implementation of Alstom's policies and customer requirements by all stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
  • Report project status and KPIs to senior management during business and sector project reviews.

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management and/or Engineering Management within the railway signalling sector.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes, tailored to the complexity of the project.
  • Familiarity with railway products and systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in leading complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in English.
