Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our team at DTU Management. The successful applicant will work on developing computational ethnographic methods to improve public transportation systems, focusing on inclusivity and accessibility.
About the Project: Our project, MOVEO, aims to create an intelligent framework for seamless transport infrastructure and mobility services. You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team working on five key pillars: infrastructure assessment, inspection and monitoring, digitalized mobility, smart logistics, and inclusiveness and accessibility.
Your Role: As a PhD researcher, you will contribute to the development of computational ethnographic methods and experiment with large language models to model synthetic informants. You will also collaborate with the EchoLab and Skylab teams at DTU Lyngby Campus.
Qualifications: To be eligible, you must have a two-year master's degree or equivalent academic experience. You should have experience with qualitative methods, preferably ethnographic fieldwork and computational data analysis. Additionally, you should be prepared to travel for up to six months to collect ethnographic data.
