Electrochemical Synthesis of Green Ammonia

NitroVolt seeks a highly skilled Process Chemical Engineer to lead the design and development of its electrochemical ammonia synthesis technology.

This role involves:

  • Design & Development: Leading the design, construction, and scale-up of electrochemical stacks from prototype to demonstration units.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate R&D insights into practical applications.
  • Project Management: Handling tendering, contracting, and project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinating with partners and ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
  • Process Documentation & Digitalization: Maintaining process records and fostering technical improvements.

Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in chemical/process engineering with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with industrial gases (hydrogen, ammonia) and process plant development.
  • Desirable Skills: Background in hydrogen, electrolysis, fuel cells, energy transition, or similar industries. Project leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (Danish is a plus).
