Job DescriptionWe seek a Process Development Engineer to lead downstream processing (DSP) solutions for our CCU technology. This role will play a pivotal part in scaling our processes from lab to pilot and commercial stages, ensuring technical robustness and profitability. Your work will make our process the go-to technology for green chemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Design and set up a DSP laboratory, including benchtop equipment selection.
- Develop process flowsheets and techno-economic analyses (TEAs) for current and future processes.
- Identify toll/CMO partners for pilot demonstrations of novel processes.
- Optimize DSP operations, including separations and purification processes, to meet profitability goals at scale.
- Demonstrate profitable crystallization and next-product processes at the pilot scale.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in separations/purification process development.
- Hands-on experience in either lab or pilot-scale settings.
- Proven ability to develop techno-economic analyses.
- Experience with distillation, liquid-liquid extraction, crystallization, or tangential flow filtrations is preferred.
- You must be an unconventional thinker, as we are pushing boundaries in this field.
