**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, as a research fellow in quantum computing.

The successful candidate will contribute to our cutting-edge research program, focusing on photonic quantum devices and silicon-based quantum emitters.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop novel quantum photonic circuits for controlling and detecting photon emission from solid-state quantum emitters in silicon.
  • Investigate methods for high-fidelity control of spin-photon systems in silicon color centers.
  • Collaborate with the Characterisation and Fabrication engineering teams to develop integrated superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs).

**Requirements:**

  • PhD or MSc in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or Material Science.
  • Strong background in quantum optics, condensed matter physics, and experimental techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
