MEP Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager to lead our project management commissions from a MEP perspective. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Governance: Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that quality, safety, health, and environment issues are identified and addressed.
  • Procurement and Change Control: Advise upon the procurement of resources and manage the change control process.
  • Project Team Management: Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team and coordinate with the client and other consultants.
  • Project Finances: Monitor and advise upon project finances and manage the flow of project information.
  • Client Interface: Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • MEP Design and Installation: Manage and coordinate the MEP design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Post Graduate Qualification: Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience of working for a construction consultancy desirable.
  • Years of Experience: 7 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • MEP Engineering Qualification: MEP engineering qualification and/or background.
  • Experience in Data Centers: Experience of working on data center projects.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
