About the Role

">

In this position, you will serve as a Functional Design Leader within the Converter & Electrical Module at Vestas. As part of the technical management team, you will play a key role in driving technological advancements and product development through the implementation of top methodologies in design-for-quality of module components throughout the development cycle.

Your primary responsibility will be to guide project design teams in Design for Reliability (DfR), including suppliers. You will review and approve the work of the project design team, overseeing installed fleet quality improvements and regularly assessing historical fleet performance and manufacturing process capability.

">

You will also be responsible for guiding and teaching Functional Leads in aspects such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and field failure data analysis. You will work closely with Senior Functional Leads in the technical management team under the guidance of the Module Design Owner.

The ideal candidate will have +7 years of relevant experience in engineering and quality assurance practices for product design, knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering, and education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering providing an efficient, fact-based approach.

You should possess proficiency in Design for Reliability, preferably with a 6 Sigma Black Belt, familiarity with Physics-of-Failure modeling, experience in Reliability testing and Design of Experiment, competence in Tolerance Chain Analysis, and proficient in Design & Process FMEA.
