About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Developer to join our SAP Governance and Enablement team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain development guidelines for SAP developments and extensions together with our engineering community.
  2. Take ownership of our SAP Change Management process by ensuring all code pushed into our platform has gone through a pipeline of automated checks and tests.
  3. Collaborate with internal customers on key features that SAP Technology Platform can implement to support their daily work.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Development technologies and integrate them with a broader technology ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  1. A deep understanding of ABAP development, especially on ABAP OO and best practices.
  2. Experience with SAP Fiori application development, including CDS views and annotations.
  3. Deep experience with OData Services.
  4. Exposure to SAP BTP and its available services.
  5. Experience working in an agile development team.
  6. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  7. A willingness to learn new skills and apply them quickly in daily work.
  8. Great partner management capabilities and ability to translate business needs into technical deliveries.

Bonus Points

  1. Exposure to SAP CAP framework.
  2. Experience with non-SAP technologies (AWS, Node.js, etc.) and willingness to play on the intersection of those with SAP.
  3. API Development using Open API Specifications.
  4. Programming skills with other multi-purpose programming languages (Python, Typescript, etc.).
  5. Experience with ABAPGit.
  6. Willingness to learn about Kubernetes and how to use it to extend SAP applications.
