About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Lead to join our Development Strategic Sourcing Unit at Genmab. The successful candidate will drive, collaborate, and advise on the end-to-end contracting & outsourcing process for clinical trial services with external service providers.

This role is responsible for building contracting & outsourcing strategies and creating leading practices that improve value, minimize risk & cost, ensure quality, and create scalability in a dynamic and growing business demand setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end contracting & outsourcing process, in close collaboration with departments in Clinical Development to facilitate timely, fit-for-purpose contracts.
  • Drive the request for outsourcing process, vendor evaluation, vendor selection, contract process (initiation, negotiation, execution, and scope changes) for master service agreements as well as monetary agreements.
  • Lead vendor governance, including performance management, chair the provider-Genmab Executive Steering Committee, drive contract issue escalation and resolution, risk mitigation and process optimization, identify improvement and trending activities for better collaboration with the provider.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain outsourcing strategies within assigned service categories.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in life sciences preferred.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • 6-8 years' experience from clinical outsourcing/contracting in the bio-pharmaceutical industry or from a contract research organization or other relevant clinical service provider.
  • Well-founded negotiation, contracts, and vendor management experience.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of clinical drug development.
  • Firm experience with working in a matrixed business environment, running multiple commitments and partners while prioritizing conflicting demands, maintaining focus on the objective, and providing high-quality service to both internal and external collaborators.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Genmab offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

As a hybrid employee, you must be 60% on-site. The role can be filled in Copenhagen, Denmark or Princeton, New Jersey US. We thrive on connecting with each other to innovate in an agile working environment.
