Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet Full time
Job Overview

The University of Copenhagen invites applications for a postdoctoral position in environmental monitoring. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and application of new remote sensing techniques for monitoring environmental changes in the Arctic tundra.

About the Project

AVOCA is a multidisciplinary project that aims to quantify emissions of the most dominant biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) in Arctic tundra. We will use a combination of remote sensing techniques, including UAS, satellite data, and field work, to develop proxies for BVOC emissions.

Your Role

We are looking for a candidate with experience and interest in both technical and applied aspects of multi- and hyperspectral remote sensing and image analysis, and with interest in working with these systems on UAS.

Responsibilities

The postdoc's duties will include research within geosciences and/or computer vision. The post may also include performance of other duties.
