Research Scientist in Cancer Biology
The University of Copenhagen's Department of Biology is a leading institution for research and education in biology. Our department is committed to advancing our understanding of the natural world and addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing society today.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join our team in the field of cancer biology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in spatial analysis of the tumor microenvironment, with a focus on integrating tumor physicochemical traits and transcriptomic landscapes.
The project aims to establish a new way of understanding tumor biology by combining superimposed maps of key physicochemical TME parameters and cellular transcriptomes in spheroids and tumors. The team will develop novel methods for analyzing and interpreting these complex data sets, and apply this knowledge to identify markers of specific physicochemical tumor traits for potential use as biomarkers and treatment targets.
