Engineering Responsible for Black Utility Systems

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Responsible to join our PS API Expansions team at Novo Nordisk A/S. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile greenfield project, shaping a new large production facility and team.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have technical and operational knowledge of black utilities systems, including steam and condensate, chillers, heat pumps, compressed air, and distribution. You will also be responsible for gaining deep knowledge about the different systems in scope and setting BMS specifications.
You will support the Work Package Owner during implementation, testing, and commissioning of the different systems. Once fully implemented, you will be responsible for the daily operation of these systems, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities that support non-stop production.
Your responsibilities as part of a team will include:
- Planning and managing system commissioning and SAT within the BU area
- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and plans
- Managing procedures and training material
- Overseeing contractor installation and progress
- Coordinating with Construction management team
This role requires a strong understanding of procedures, instructions, and working knowledge of FDA and EU regulations. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong working relations with colleagues and stakeholders.
About the TeamThe PS API Expansions team is a newly established and growing area within Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. We design, plan, and build all major API Expansions projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients.
We focus on delivering the highest quality to patients globally in an efficient and environmentally sustainable way. Our goal is to set the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
About the SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is around 120,000 - 180,000 DKK per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A relevant academic degree (candidates with relevant technical background and extensive experience are welcome too)
- Technical and operational knowledge of black utilities systems
- Working knowledge of FDA and EU regulations
- +3 years of experience from a similar job or project with responsibilities within the area of black utilities and BMS
- Full professional proficiency in English
