About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Production to join our team at OMEGA, Inc. as a key member of our Senior Operations Management team. As a Production Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of 90 FTEs, including 4 Production Managers as direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety within the production department, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Team Management: Manage your teams to ensure best possible collaboration and synergies across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure continuous implementation of CI and Lean initiatives in line with Group-wide Spectris Business Systems.
- Production KPIs: Maintain responsibility for production KPIs, efficiency, and quality.
- Process Support: Provide support to your teams and manage efficient flow of processes.
Requirements
- Senior Management Experience: Extensive experience in a senior management role in a production environment.
- Production Background: Background within engineering, medical device, aerospace, automotive production, or similar.
- Leadership Skills: Strong people and project management skills.
- Relationship Building: Genuine interest and strength in building trusting relationships with all stakeholders.
- Lean Manufacturing: Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, ideally certified.
- International Experience: Experience working in an international environment.
Personal Qualities
- Leadership Ability: Excellent ability to motivate, lead, and develop team members.
- Language Skills: Language fluency requirement: native/professional Danish and fluent English.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Strong continuous improvement mindset and ability to implement initiatives.
- Change Management: Strong change management abilities within a production environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
