We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark, and play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, driving growth, and delivering financial insights to support decision-making in a dynamic multi-country environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with local and corporate teams, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering financial management to commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Partner with commercial leaders to provide financial insight and make recommendations on growth and profitability.
  • Act as a key advisor to management on financial matters, including risk management, investment opportunities, pricing, and marketing spend effectiveness.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plans for the Nordics and Dutch cluster.
  • Support commercial teams with the development of brand plans.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and addressing variances to budget or forecast.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports that adhere to local, Corporate, and International accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with tax/vat regulations, statutory requirements for each country.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors.
  • Lead the creation of a compliance framework for managing entities and ensure that all relevant licenses are in place and maintained.

Operational Finance:

  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensure that appropriate controls are in place.
  • Develop financial policies and processes in line with Corporate and regional guidance.

Process Improvement:

  • Support the development and implementation of systems SAP S4.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes.
  • Offshore manual processes to financial shared service centre.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with Commercial Lead to develop the business.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting strategy meetings, workshops, and reviews.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related degree or professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance leadership role preferably in a multi-country capacity within the Nordics region.
  • Experience in financial operations and/or management within the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, or Iceland).
  • Strong technical skills of IFRS and International accounting standards, local accounting standards, and regulatory framework.
  • Proficient in SAP S4, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English essential and one other Nordic language is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
