We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in Space Technology to join our team at GomSpace A/S. As a key member of our Programs Business Unit, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge satellite solutions for our customers in the academic, government, and commercial markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing the overall system architecture and design
  • Leading a team of systems engineers to ensure successful delivery of the mission
  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact to our customer
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the project forward
  • Maintaining excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant engineering degree (MSc or higher) and/or professional experience in space systems engineering
  • Strong understanding of space systems, including satellites, spacecraft, and launch vehicles
  • Excellent systems engineering skills, including requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation
  • Experience with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS or similar) and mission analysis tools (STK, GMAT or similar)
  • Familiarity with programming languages or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Matlab)
