About the Role
The Governmental Public Affairs & Communications Head will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic engagement plans to build coalitions with external stakeholders. This includes monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, engaging with government officials, and managing public policy matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive Governmental Public Affairs & Communications strategy and action plan.
- Driving Merck's relationships with government entities and external stakeholder groups.
- Implementing company communication strategy in line with HQ guidance.
- Supporting the external impact of the General Manager and Medical Director on shaping business-critical policy.
- Supporting overall commercialisation by contributing to the local Medical and Marketing Strategy and activities.
