About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trial Budget Oversight Manager to join our team at Genmab. As a key member of our Clinical Trial Budget Oversight Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the clinical trial budget oversight manual, training relevant personnel in clinical trial budgeting systems and procedures, and securing a consistent implementation of clinical trial budgeting processes across the clinical trial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the clinical trial budget oversight manual and ensure its accuracy and reliability.
  • Train relevant personnel in clinical trial budgeting systems and procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance as needed.
  • Secure a consistent implementation of clinical trial budgeting processes across the clinical trial portfolio, and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and adhere to these processes.
  • Assist relevant trial management personnel in day-to-day updates and maintenance of clinical trial budgets, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Develop new procedures and processes for updating and tracking clinical trial budgets, and implement these changes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the development of enhancements to systems used to maintain oversight of clinical trial budgets, and ensure that these systems are accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.
  • Work closely with the R&D Finance organization to implement periodic reviews and updates of clinical trial budgets, and ensure that these budgets are accurate and reliable.
  • Actively participate in semi-annually reviews and updates to clinical trial budgets, and provide input and feedback as needed.
  • Support the monthly reporting and tracking of clinical trial budgets to relevant management personnel, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Support relevant trial management personnel in reviewing relevant vendor contracts and the processing and tracking of vendor invoices.
Requirements
  • A BSc or MSc level within Accounting, Finance or Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and managing budgets, preferably working with clinical trial budgets.
  • Ability to perform detailed financial analyses and detect budget discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience in SAP, budget management, and modeling tools.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, budget oversight at trial and project levels, and quarterly budget updates.
  • Able to manage multiple aspects of budgeting across trials and projects efficiently.
  • Adaptable to new systems and processes with a forward-thinking approach to future budget management strategies.
