Award-winning Hartmanns A/S is seeking an experienced Patent Attorney to join their team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of the Bio/Life Science sector, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and patent advisory services to clients, driving business growth and securing IP rights.
Your Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and identify new IP opportunities to drive business development and secure IP rights.
- Assess patentability of new inventions, recommend patenting strategies, and draft and prosecute patent applications.
- Conduct patent searches and monitor existing patents to ensure clients' freedom to operate in their desired markets.
- Offer advice and assistance on licensing, IP due diligence, patent enforcement, and disputes, including opposition proceedings before the EPO and UPC.
- You hold a Ph.D. or master's degree in molecular/cellular biology, human biology, or related fields, preferably combined with an EQE or a desire to pursue an EQE.
- You have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working with IP-related matters, such as drafting and prosecuting patent applications, either in-house or in private practice.
- You have a good understanding of the Bio/Life Science industry sector, including its special regulatory challenges and milestones.
- You possess good analytical skills, a well-developed curiosity, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
