Nurse and Donor Coordinator

Cryos International, a leading international gamete bank, is seeking a highly motivated Nurse and Donor Coordinator to join our team in Nicosia, Cyprus. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming new and existing donors, handling and reviewing applications, performing health assessments and risk behavior screenings, and maintaining the electronic files to ensure that registrations are updated.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

1. Welcome new and existing donors and guide them through the process of becoming a donor
2. Perform health assessments and risk behavior screenings
3. Follow up on existing donors and maintain the electronic files
4. Plan and assist in performing all relevant clinical tasks, including oocyte collection procedure, physical examination, and behavioral assessment
5. Perform periodic quality control checks and continuous participation in maintaining and developing internal Standard Operating Procedures
6. Awareness and adherence to donor-related local, European, and international legislations

Qualifications and Job Requirements

1. Degree in Nursing incl. Nurse State Registration
2. Experience in IVF nursing work is an advantage
3. Highly proficient in spoken and written Greek and English languages
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Highly service-minded and professional
6. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an international company
7. Must be already eligible to work in Cyprus

Candidates should be comfortable working in a team and with Cryos donor candidates of different nationalities. They should pay attention to detail and comply with company standards of high quality. The ideal candidate should be able to work systematically and independently once trained under the direction of the Team Lead Nurse/Donor Coordinator.
