About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shutdown Coordinator to join our team at Novo Nordisk. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing shutdown activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Shutdown Plans: Create and execute comprehensive shutdown plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure seamless execution of shutdown activities.
  • Coordinate with Departments: Collaborate with various departments to ensure all shutdown activities are planned and executed efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Monitor Progress and Provide Updates: Regularly monitor progress and provide timely updates to management, ensuring stakeholders are informed of shutdown activities and any potential issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during shutdown activities, ensuring the safety of personnel and the integrity of equipment.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout shutdown activities.
  • Resource Management: Effectively manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure successful shutdown execution and minimize waste.
  • Post-Shutdown Reviews: Conduct thorough post-shutdown reviews to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to optimize future shutdown activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or a related field.
  • Shutdown Experience: Proven experience in managing shutdown projects, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to create and manage complex shutdown plans and schedules.
  • Safety Regulations and Best Practices: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Danish, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
