About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Procurement team as a Strategic Category Optimization Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our procurement strategies and optimizing category performance at both local and regional levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic category plans that align with business objectives and drive value for the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective category management and minimize risks.
- Analyze market trends and spending patterns to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring the best possible value for the organization.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in category management or procurement in a global organization.
- Proven ability to assess supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and resolve issues collaboratively.
- Experience in developing tailored category strategies and identifying opportunities for cost savings aligned with organizational goals.
