Scientist Position in Cellular Reprogramming

The project builds on our existing research interests in understanding how plants adapt to environmental stresses, particularly flooding. We aim to investigate how autophagy modulates cellular reprogramming needed for plants to tolerate flooding stress using a combination of state-of-the-art microscopy, molecular, biochemical and genetic approaches.
The successful candidate will have significant laboratory experience in molecular biology and related areas, with excellent skills in life-cell imaging, cloning, and molecular biology techniques. Prior experience working with model plants species Arabidopsis thaliana and Physcomitrium patens will be considered an advantage.
