Power BI Platform Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Power BI professional with proven leadership experience in architecture, administration, and governance to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for driving the architecture, administration, and development of our Power BI platform, ensuring best practices in governance, standardization, and exploring AI integration opportunities. You will work closely with a talented team that includes a Platform Architect and Data Architects, collaborating across different locations.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement a governance model, including Self-Service BI technology, to support data-driven decision-making.
  2. Manage Power BI workspaces, premium capacity, and gateways, ensuring optimal performance and efficient platform usage.
  3. Establish technical standardization, conduct reviews, and oversee development and deployment processes for reports and datasets.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable Power BI solutions.
  5. Support the integration of AI capabilities into the Power BI platform, working alongside team members to leverage advanced analytics.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience in Power BI architecture, administration, and governance, as well as a proven track record of implementing and managing Self-Service BI solutions. You should also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

You should have a robust and proactive personality, comfortable with taking ownership and leading initiatives. Additionally, you should excel in stakeholder management and building relationships across the organization.
