About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and developing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to drive revenue expansion and market penetration
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform business development strategies
  • Develop and manage business proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure BIG remains competitive and innovative

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion through new business development
  • Strong understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry and its trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
