About Your Role

We seek a Senior International Tax Manager / Director (Centrica Energy) to spearhead tax business partnering for our expanding global operations. As a key member of our team, you will ensure compliance with international tax regulations, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiencies.

This role demands a strong understanding of transfer pricing and the energy commodity sector, complex cross-border transactions, and regulatory environments.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining global tax business partnering strategies aligned with our overall tax strategy and commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global tax business partnering strategies to ensure alignment with our overall tax strategy and commercial objectives.

  • Advise on tax and transfer pricing implications for new business models, transactions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Manage the preparation of all tax and transfer pricing returns and documentation in accordance with international guidelines and local regulations.

About Our Team

You'll be working within our mission control room, where our various teams power up each of our businesses, ensuring they have the support, technologies, and capabilities needed to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent international tax experience and ideally an accounting/tax qualification.

  • Experience in tax and transfer pricing within the energy, commodity trading, and/or financial services sectors.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect tax and transfer pricing strategies with overall business goals.
