About the Role:

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing field construction activities for projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. This entry-level role involves directing craftsmen and contractors to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute field construction activities per project drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Control project schedule and costs, optimizing resources.
  • Monitor productivity and costs, maintaining labor productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Promote and develop a safety culture within the project.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent and fourteen years of related experience, or eighteen years of related experience without a degree.
  • Effective communication with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the job; food or pharma experience is a must.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and client relations skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management.
  • Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Plant Supervision ApS has been providing experienced technicians for supervision of construction, installation, and commissioning of industrial installations domestically and internationally since 2011. We are situated in Aalborg, Denmark, with divisions in Copenhagen and India. Our workforce consists of professional experts with relevant backgrounds in electrical, automation, process, and mechanical fields.

We provide our employees with support and services such as flight, housing, car rental, and many other practical issues working abroad. Our Compliance and HR Team handles tax and social security issues. Currently, we have 118 traveling employees working on 57 projects in 24 countries.
