Job Description
As Head of Compliance within SEB Denmark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's business operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. This involves providing strategic direction to management on compliance topics, offering expert advisory services on compliance issues to individual business areas, and continuously assessing and evaluating compliance risks in SEB Denmark.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the business areas according to agreed schedules, following local regulatory developments, participating in investigations of incidents, developing staff training strategies on compliance-related matters, and reporting breaches of external or internal rules and routines to relevant local and global management as well as regulatory authorities where necessary. In addition, you will be responsible for being the contact person for local regulatory authorities and taking part in the preparation for examinations, investigations, and other activities performed by these authorities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a master's degree in law or equivalent, leadership and people skills, at least 10 years of compliance expertise gained in a Danish financial institution, and solid knowledge of financial products and instruments. The ideal candidate will be proactive and solution-oriented, able to manage work with dynamically shifting priorities, timelines, and demands, organized with high levels of independence, integrity, and excellent judgment, an effective communicator and collaborator, and fluent in Danish and English.
