Job Description

We are seeking a skilled geophysicist to join our Hydrogeophysics group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to groundwater mapping in Denmark and internationally. Your tasks will include data collection, processing, and interpretation of geophysical data, as well as preparation of scientific articles and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Data collection and analysis using TEM, ERT/IP, magnetic, NMR, and GCM/EMI methods
• Preparation of scientific articles and reports in English
• Dissemination of geophysical knowledge to partners
• Active participation in geophysical research projects
• Teaching geophysical methods and software

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a background in geophysics, excellent communication skills, and experience with the software program Aarhus Workbench. Previous experience as a trainer of geophysical methods is considered a plus.

Working Conditions

You will be based at the Department of Geoscience, Høegh-Guldbergs Gade 2, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. The position involves a significant amount of fieldwork both domestically and internationally, including training programs for audiences of 15-20 persons.

Salary

The salary is competitive and negotiable, but expected to be around DKK 550,000 - DKK 650,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
